Traffic changes at Booderee National Park entry precinct
The next phase of the Booderee National Park entry precinct upgrade project will begin on Monday 12 October, with temporary changes to traffic arrangements in place while work is underway.
Visitors travelling to and from Booderee National Park should be aware of the following changes at the entry precinct.
· A detour via Cave Beach Road will be in place for all vehicles entering the park that require access to Ellmoos Road.
· The right-hand lane at the entry precinct will be used by all vehicles exiting the park.
· The right-hand lane normally used by residents and service vehicles entering the park will be closed.
· Inbound traffic will instead be diverted through the visitor carpark using the two inside (left) lanes.
Visitors are asked to allow extra time for their journey and take care when travelling through the entry precinct.
Motorists are asked to:
· follow all work zone signage and barriers
· follow directions from traffic control personnel
· take care around changed traffic conditions.
These temporary arrangements will remain in place while this phase of the entry precinct upgrade is underway.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as these improvements are carried out.
Further updates will be provided as the project progresses.
