Severe weather update - temporary park closure
Booderee National Park is temporarily closed for safety reasons due to severe weather. Shoalhaven SES has activated emergency measures for the region due to deteriorating weather conditions.
The park will be closed to visitors for at least 24 hours and campers have been evacuated.
There will also be no camping permitted Thursday or Friday (3-4 March 2022) due to the severe weather situation.
Booderee National Park will continue to monitor the situation and provide further updates about park closures and re-openings.
This closure will not restrict Jervis Bay Territory residents or their guests from entering or exiting the territory.
