These guided walks are perfect for families and children, offering a chance to learn about Country, connect with culture and explore the natural beauty of Booderee.

Join Wandi Wandian man Matt Simms from Djiriba Waagura on a guided bushwalk along the burriburri (whale) songline.

Starting with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, this cultural experience takes you on a 6 km walk through Booderee, visiting significant sites and sharing stories that connect people to Country since the very first sunrise. Learn about bush tucker, cultural practices and the meaning of the land and sea to local Aboriginal people.

Join renowned environmental educator Bernie McLeod and his family for a rich cultural experience in the Booderee Botanic Gardens.

This tour shares the stories, knowledge and deep connections of the Yuin and Dharawal peoples. Discover traditional bush foods and medicines, learn about tools and weapons, and take in the natural beauty of the gardens. Bernie is a proud Yuin/Monaro/Kamilaroi man and third-generation Booderee employee with over 30 years’ experience in cultural education and park management.
