Phone & internet coverage
There is very limited mobile and internet coverage in the park which may impact your ability to make and take phone calls, send text messages, and access any applications requiring an internet/data connection.
Many visitors find this gives them a chance to escape technology and just enjoy nature.
If you want to download material to your smart phone to use in the park, we suggest doing so before you arrive. Be sure to organise meeting places and test communication methods with anyone you may be travelling with to be safe.
Seeking help
For assistance, call the Visitor Centre on 02 4443 0977.
In an emergency call Triple Zero (000).
If you experience difficulty reaching 000, you can use 112 as an alternative emergency number from a digital mobile phone. This international standard emergency number does not require a simcard or pin number to make the call, however, mobile coverage must be available from at least one carrier for the call to proceed.
