Stony Creek Road reopens following upgrades

Stony Creek Road will reopen on Saturday 6 August following the completion of upgrades.

The temporary closure to undertake scheduled roadworks was extended due to a series of severe weather events. Please continue to drive to the conditions and observe traffic warnings while within the park.

While Stony Creek Road reopens access to popular sites such as Cape St George Lighthouse and Moes Rock, access to Steamers Beach remains closed until further notice.

If you are visiting the park we encourage you to stay safe by obeying all signage and following the directions of Booderee National Park staff.
