Camping at Booderee
Visitors adore camping at Booderee. Choose between the natural setting and individual campsites at Green Patch, the grassy area at Cave Beach, or Bristol Point, which is ideal for larger groups.
How to book your campsite
To book a campsite, click on the link below which will take you to the RMS booking website to complete your reservation.
Campsites are automatically allocated using a first come, first served system. We encourage you to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Maximum equipment allowed per site
To provide a comfortable and enjoyable camping stay for all our visitors, you must fit within the designated camping areas and follow the equipment guide below.
Additional fees will apply for people or equipment greater than these limits.

Camping Periods:
- Peak – Spring, summer and autumn NSW school holidays; Easter; and Fridays and Saturdays from October to the end of March.
- Shoulder – Sundays to Thursdays from October to April (unless part of the peak period).
- Off Peak – All nights between the autumn and spring NSW school holidays.
Things to consider
- All campsites are unpowered.
- When deciding what size campsite you need, remember to include the dimensions of any ‘kitchen tents’, annexes, awnings and gazebos in addition to your tent(s) or van.
- Consider the number of vehicles you will have on your site (trailers and boats are counted as vehicles).
- Please provide the registration numbers of all vehicles.
- Park pass use fees are included in your camping fee.
- Print out your ticket and bring it with you on your visit, or be ready to show your pass digitally to a ranger on request.
Checking in and checking out
If you have booked your Green Patch or Bristol Point site online you can proceed straight to your campsite without checking in at the Visitor Centre.
Please remember to print out and bring your booking confirmation to display on your dashboard.
If you have booked a site at Cave Beach, please pick up your tent tag on arrival at the Visitor Centre (or the following day if you arrive after hours) and attach the tag to your tent.
Campsites must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure and left in a clean and tidy condition.
Refunds and cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the arrival date to receive a refund.

Booderee campsites are for peaceful enjoyment of the natural environment and quiet family time. Loud music, drunken behaviour and offensive language is not acceptable at Booderee.

To protect the privacy of campsites, do not disturb any native vegetation in the areas between sites. Please keep all equipment within the boundary of your campsite.

Light fires only in the fireplaces provided using the firewood supplied. Open fires are not permitted on campsites. Gas appliances may be used at your campsite; however all fires (including gas fires) are prohibited on total fire ban days.

Do not feed any wildlife as this can result in poor health, aggression and may attract pest species.

To protect Booderee’s wildlife and plants, no animals may be brought into the park

Please do not dig trenches.

Poles are provided for clotheslines.

Generators are not permitted as they disturb people and wildlife.

Be aware that snakes, spiders and ticks live in and around the camping areas and precautions should be taken.
Nearby accommodation
There is an enormous range of places to stay in Jervis Bay. As well as camping in the national park, you can stay at caravan parks, bed and breakfasts, apartments or seaside cottages.
Rentals range from modest to luxurious, with many right on the beach overlooking the ocean. Properties are available in nearby Huskisson, Vincentia and Hyams Beach.
